Carolyn is a recent graduate from California State University, Northridge where she majored in Journalism. She was a part of the L.A. Times Internship Class of 2022 where she worked on the Audience Engagement team.
While at CSUN she worked on the student newspaper, the Daily Sundial. She spent her first semester on the paper as the Social Media Editor where she redesigned and restructured their social media presence. The following semester she was asked to return to the paper as Managing Editor. In addition to overseeing the staff, she launched the publication's weekly newsletter.
