Carolyn Burt was a summer 2022 Audience Engagement Intern for the Los Angeles Times. While at the L.A. Times she produced the newspapers most viewed Instagram Reel to date with over 1.9 million views. Her day to day work often consisted of writing and producing consistent social posts on Twitter and Facebook for an audience of more than 7.5 million. Additionally she lead the social media coverage on breaking news stories such as the Roe v. Wade verdict and former President Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate being investigated by the FBI.
