Responsible for writing and publishing share lines on social media for an audience of more than 7.5 million to bring traffic to the website, including breaking news coverage of the Roe v. Wade verdict.
Launched a new Instagram Reel video strategy for the publication that led to the most viewed video for the Los Angeles Times on Instagram with 1.9 million views.
Took initiative to create original video content for the Los Angeles Times social media accounts including filming, writing, and editing the videos.

The Daily Sundial - Social Media Editor

Redesigned the Sundial’s Instagram posts so that they were informative and visually appealing, which increased the reach by 354% and gained over 300 followers in the first 90 days of taking over the position.
Developed original social media content for Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Also created video content for TikTok and Instagram, that resonated with the audience and increased overall engagement.
Worked closely with the Editor-in-Chief to ensure the Sundial utilizes our social media platforms and updated them on a report of the analytics from each account to better understand our audience.
Created a social media budget spreadsheet to track what content is being published daily on each platform, allowing for a more organized workflow.
